What is a Round Robin Bet?
A round robin is a way to create multiple parlay bets from a set of selections. Instead of putting all your picks into one parlay (which requires all to win), you create every possible parlay combination of a certain size.
Example: 3 Picks into 2-Team Parlays
If you have picks A, B, and C, a 2-team round robin creates 3 parlays:
- A + B
- A + C
- B + C
If any 2 picks win, at least one parlay pays. If all 3 win, all 3 parlays pay.
When to Use Round Robins
- Risk reduction: You don't need every pick to win to profit
- Multiple confident picks: When you like several games but want insurance
- Parlay protection: Less variance than a single large parlay
Round Robin vs Regular Parlay
A regular 3-team parlay at -110 each pays about +600. A 3-pick round robin into 2-team parlays costs 3x the wager but provides multiple chances to win. The expected value is similar, but variance is lower.
