How Implied Team Totals Work
Implied team totals reveal what the betting market expects each team to score. By combining the spread and total, you can derive the expected final score for both teams.
The Formula
Home Implied Total = (Game Total - Home Spread) / 2
Away Implied Total = (Game Total + Home Spread) / 2
Away Implied Total = (Game Total + Home Spread) / 2
Why This Matters
